Just wondering to those who already have master, how many tries did it take you? I am wondering if I am more on the unlucky side or if its normal to fail so many times.

Out of the 9 tries I've done, only 2 times did I crit to green. I have yet to fail a single try, but it doesnt seem to matter. 5 times out of those 9, I had full DP. Only once out of those 5 did I crit to green.

Considering how expensive this is to try, I can appreciate the craft more, but again I cant help but wonder...how many tries did it take you to get master?

I'm at 399. I'm just trying to get some kinah together so I can sit here and do a bunch of work orders and hopefully get the patterns I need.


I've found that crafting the white durable sobi tunic and vendoring it is a great source of income.

I went out for about an hour and a half today and farmed up ~500 sobi fiber. This gets me enough to craft about 5 tunics which vendor for 114,000 kinah.

Kinah buyers are probably buying them out for about 2m each. At least they are on my server.

It took me 5 tries to proc the sobi tunic. For the final item, which requires tough leather and the flux, I'll have to wait until either I or more people on the server hit level 45, since there are absolutely none of these items on the AH.

I've completed 26 (yes, twenty-six) attempts at the Noble Durable Sobi Tunic so far without a proc. This crafting system is sucking my will to be a tailor.

The tunic is a pain but the leather bp will be even worse as it takes lvl 48 resources. Not sure how 2 players on my server got expert as the premium armor fluxes go for a mil a piece. Everything else can be gotten pretty low lvl but you will need to be around 42 to get the fluxes.

The 390 work order gives the green jerkin recipe. I got lucky at 398. I kept doing just the 390 order once I hit there. Ive heard ppl trying for tons of times for the recipe.

Did the Sobi Tunic on my second try, doing Work Orders now for the Worthy Leather Tunic thingy.

Just got the Worthy Jerking after about 10 work orders, but now I can't get any of those Flux :p

Sorry I should clarify, my 9 tries was on the leather section of the quest, I got the cloth part on the 3rd try.

I don't understand this.

The Worthy Tough Durable Jerkin is a green item to begin with and we/you have to crit it to blue.

Or do I misunderstand you or the quest?

I proc'd on the 2nd try for the cloth tunic, but I'm currently on my 12th try at proccing the blue leather jerkin......

12th try? How on earth did you get hold of 48 of the worthy, premium, armor fluxes? I have yet to see a single one on my server!

I was able to proc the tunic on the 5th try. I can't imagine finding enough mats to try and proc the jerkin :-p

We have a bunch of upper 40's and some 50's that can kill the higher lvl mobs that drop them.
