After looking it up, it says its from morphing... does this mean the only way to attain this is for someone to have gained the epic one, somehow managed to morph that all the way down to grey?

I'm 399 was going to do the quest to go expert but.. only time I ever see this item on trade broker its selling at 300k + and theres never enough to make a weapon..

They drop off of level 46+ mobs. These fluxes are preventing ALOT of people up from achieving expert status. Just not enough people high enough at the moment to start getting them and posting them on the AH for a reasonable price.

I usually get one worthy premium every 20 minutes or so, and 4-6 premiums per hour. I sell the worthy premiums at 1mill each and the premiums at 100k each. Both sell within a few hours of putting them up, no real reason for me to sell them at a reasonable price yet.

LOL, wow! There are some pretty stupid crafters on the Nezekan server then... (no offense) It's silly to pay 1 mill for one flux when you need 6 to make an item. If they were smart they would just wait a week or two till more people get high enough to gather them... then the prices will come WAY down as people start undercutting each other.

Well you sir, Mr. Iced, have got a good thing going. I would do nothing else but farm them all day if i were in your position.

That's not bad at all. Reg Premiums are up for 750k on our server. This is so fail. I'd totally pay 100k each for reg ones if there were any!!!

where are you hunting. are those weapon fluxes or armor/acces fluxes?

You'll have to wait for all the crafters that don't mind buying kinah from the rangrangs to finish getting expert before you'll see any "reasonable" prices. I actually sold some regular Premium Weapon Fluxes for 125k/ea which I'm regretting a bit now - I suspect they'd sell within hours @ 200k/ea.

I've failed two tries at the 399 oric shield for the Armorsmith test, the first try costing me about 3-4M Kinah, second try being 4-5M kinah. Bizarrely even as people level, the price of premium armor flux has gone up. I haven't been able to buy any in the last week or so, where before I could grab for 500K. Now I know for a fact that at least one other person has been buying up to and including 1M.

But I guess that's not too surprising, right? Have to be at least a few ppl that don't mind buying 20M or whatever. I'd even guess as to say that someone that spends a lot of time crafting/enjoys crafting is more likely to be the type of person that may do that.

Acutally i think he means any sort of Fluxes. I've been grinding from 42 till 48,5 now mostly and it turned out having 50+ Premium Armor/Accessory Fluxes (as they drop of Level 45 Mobs, Weapon starts at 47+), but only ~8 Weapon Fluxes.
It's definately luck based too, but at all, you get 3-5 Armor/Accessory Fluxes per Weapon Flux. And imo you get 1 Weapon Flux every 2-4 hours, not to mention that it's a normal Flux, not a Worthy.

Don't know about Draupnir Cave (there might be 47+ Elite Mobs, but even if the dropchance there is 6 times higher, which i doubt, you're in a group).

So, happy grinding for Fluxes.
On my server they go for 800k+ each (weapon)

It wld be nice if all the gold buyers didnt keep the prices of everything so high on our server the fluxes were starting to stack up on the tb hence the prices slowly dropping but of course ppl jump the gun and within 2 days they buy them all up at still a ridiculous price ppl stop buying them and they will come down in price simple as that.... wld be nice to be able to attempt expert......seems so far the only ones that can are bots and gold buyers/farmers etc

about 1 mil per worthy prem weapon flux.

I suggest buying the expert premium weapon flux and morphing it down to 3 worthy prem, if the price is right of course. On my server ive gotten the expert flux as low as 900k while the worthy prems are still sitting at 400-500k a piece , you do the math

Only got Armors and Accesory fluxes from 46-47mobs then when i started to kill lvl 48mobs Premium weapon fluxes started to drop, so i think they are a random 48+mob drop.

You can get Premium Weapon Fluxes from 46 and 47 mobs. I did the Platinum Coin Quest to kill 54 Ghosts over 60 times (30 Turn-ins each while quest with my girlfriend), and got one off of a 46 mob. In that time though, I got many more Accessory and Armor Fluxes.

@Idleyes... Any 48+ mob has a chance to drop a Premium Weapon Flux.

From what i understood...

46+ mobs will drop Premium Armor and Accessory Fluxes. However, weapon fluxes are "1 level greater" in their loot tables, and will only drop off 47+ mobs. It's very easy to farm Armor/Acc fluxes in Theobomos for instance, off viragos or scorpen, but finding some decent killable 47+ mobs is harder if you're trying to grind weapon fluxes at lowish level.

I kill level 49 mobs to farm them, drop rate is real low (like 1-2 per day, on a good day).

Try doing the asmo counterpart for Theobomos Lab. I usually get about 5-10 premium weapon fluxes per Theo Lab run, not bad for 1h 30mins.
