Hey guy's i've had one try at critting the white to green weapon for the expert quest and had no luck.

Just wondering how much people have spent trying to actually complete this quest?

I know some people could have got it first go and been extremely lucky but it'll be a good idea at what kind of averages people have spent.

Even if you gathered the mats yourself how many fluxes did it take etc

6 or 7 tries for me, was really unlucky.

The white to green is the easy part of the quest. Part 2 is a nightmare ;_;

Out of interest, which weapons are you asked to craft?

The first part is to crit a Durable Adamantium Greatsword (which took me 8 tries)

Second part is to crit a Noble Durable Orichalcum Sword (which I have failed two attempts on and am farming mats for my third)

so far 2 Attempts on Orichalcum Sword (hell, no Fluxes @ AH and none dropping)

Got 29 white/green tries now without getting worhty adamantium noble and someone with lot of gold is buying fluxes for ridicilous prices because there is not a single flux left in broker and worthy flux skyrocking in price.

I will be working on getting my skill to 399 so I can do the expert quest. Just curious, which fluxes are you all talking about?

17th fail in a ROW on the first part. I have yet to see a green sword. I was the first expert tailor on my server (maybe europe) and have been funding my friends alchemy/weapon crafting. We mastered alchemy with about 15million spent. So far weaponsmithing has cost me well over 30 million, we have yet to see a GREEN sword, let alone even TRIED the second combine.

There is no expert weaponsmith on my server yet, Perento (asmo anyways) I am seriously wondering if there is some bug preventing this recipe from critting.

p.s. this is 18 fails on the Orichalcum sword, first combine. We have yet to see it go green. The greatsword took just 4 tries.

My weaponsmith guildie is having the same problem... He can't seem to crit the orichalcum 1hand sword to green. I've been helping him farm the mats but its becoming very disappointing for both of us.

As for now it seems many have pushed hard to go expert so Im starting to think there is a cap on how many worthy noble allowed to be made during a certain time so it does'nt matter how many tries, it just won't proc. 33 tries, no wothy noble..

First you need Fine Weapon Flux. Then Premium Weapon Flux which now sells for 300k each.

27 crafts to get a Worthy sword, then procced it first time to get the Worthy Noble.

Total cost: More than I want to think about. White premium fluxes sold for about 200-300k each. Plus I had to buy the other mats each time after my first 5 tries. Thwe sword vendors for 440k or so which covers cost of vendor mats. So yeah, about 35mill total I spent. More really as after a while i just bought anything at any price just to sodding get it done =)

Im curious is it you who must be the creator or u can turn in any sword (crafted by expert with 440+ wpnsmith supposing the proc will be way easy) or the Creator must be you ?

I was able to craft the Noble Adamantium Greatsword on my third try. However, I cannot even attempt the Sword. For starters, I don't have that recipe. It isn't being sold on the broker at all either. Even if I did have that recipe, it doesn't matter. The regular Fluxes for the regular version of that sword (that you have to crit to Noble) aren't even available on my server's broker. None. Also, the Worthy version of those Fluxes are 1.5m each.
