Common Answer A: HP ALL THE WAY
Common Answer B: HP with M.RES ALL THE WAY
Common Answer C: M.BOOST ALL THE WAY
Stupid Answer: ALL MP
Real Answer: Depends on what you're willing to sacrifice and what you mostly do.
As I was reading your guide I came across this. I've been socketing MP for a while now, and it works just fine for me. I see a lot of clerics who follow what you say and socket HP but they should really learn to think on their own. Can you explain how a bigger mana pool is not useful as a caster? We don't have the mana regen like other classes do, therefore we need more mana. Check my AionOnline.com profile if you want, I do socket MP. The only reason I am using the HP stones that are there now is because I'm waiting on some more MP stones to drop. I just use the HP stones as a filler until I get more MP stones. A couple weeks ago I had 7 MP stones and the amount of mana I had was just amazing. You should really consider this for your guide instead of just promoting 'cookie cutter nonsense.'
I play Asmo on the Azphel server.

Having slotted MP into your Sockets is unnecessary and overall unhelpful.
Clerics have 5 Ways of getting MP back.
1. Penance 2. Mana Potion/Serum 3. Mana Treatment 4. Reverse Condition (Stigma) 5. 2K DP
Not including the use of Grace of Empyrean Lord (Stigma).
Penance, can and should be used every CD when 25% of your mana is used. The HP Penalty may seem a lot at Penance I, but as Penance hits Penance III, this problem is very insignificant and easily nullified. The free Mana given from Penance is, well, free mana every 3 minutes. (Penance III at 50 gives 187 MP/3, Total of 1870 MP)
Mana Potions, do not stack with Mana Treatment, however, Mana Serums as instant fills.
To quickly gain massive amounts of Mana, you can "risk" Mana Treatment, drink a Mana Serum and use Penance. That alone will give you over ~4K Mana. Which at lower levels, your entire MP Pool, and at higher levels, 75% of your MP Pool. If you're in trouble, you can use your 2K DP, even to the point of eating a 2K DP Food than using it. 50% of your Mana like that. Reverse Condition (although not a very good Stigma and one trick pony) can do the job too to give you nearly full mana.
Aion, unlike other MMOs, have 30s Potion CDs. With that CD, Potions/Serums are spammable, and should be. Mana Potions/Serums are generally very cheap to make and to buy on every server, there should be no problem here.
In PvP, MP is your least concern. If you don't have the HP, M.Res or even M.Boost to deal with damage and opponents, you are dead. And a dead Cleric can't use any of that MP you speak of and that you socketed.
In PvE, MP is irrelevant, again because of the massive amounts of ways to get Mana Back.

Stop trolling around! You already have your asnwer, and already have your topic locked about this.
We have mana regen: Penance. And Grace.
Are you trying to make clerics from your server to go MP so you can have a shot on killing them?
You're the one promoting cookie cutter nonsense.

word is, grace of ressurection does half your res sickness time. at least a 50 cleric friend just told me and made me "wtf? zomg zomg" - since in dark poeta, most guys have max res sickness, which really isnt great.
its late, its x-mas, i didnt test yet, but i guess that guy knows about what he speaks - if anyone can confirm, you should update your FAQ about this fact - since this crap skill is usefull then. dang, where in my hotbar do i put it - no space left

Yes, Grace of Resurrection does reduce Rez Sickness time. It you want to reduce the time, use it. Especially useful in Dark Poeta.
Again however, it should not be your main Rez. The 10 Seconds is a really long time, in heat of Battle and Bosses, this becomes impossible. Furthermore, you want to pull them out of AoE Range or danger zones of both PvE and PvP, this is where Loci is much better, while Single Rez saves you lots of Mana.
None-the-less, with the 50% Rez Sickness Time, Grace of Resurrection has its place on our Bar now, if you can find a spot to fit it. However situational it may be.

10 secs is a pain in the nyerk, right, but since i am on noble, i got sages wisdom anyways, so it gets 5 secs (plus 1 sec for sages).
i personally guess its still useless before you hit 50, since with <50 level people tend to pay their soul healer, and usually sickness times of 2 mins are max. but with 50, sickness of 4 mins is max. so hail to ncsoft, that we finally found a use for grace and hail to ncsoft, too, for great skill tooltips!

1) Out of Mana! (for those tanks who can't seem to pay attention to such things)
/g I am out of Mana! Please cease all slaughtering or you may die. If you have healing potions, be my guest!
2) Being attacked (once again, for tanks who can't seem to see my health being spiked down, I use this A LOT sadly, though it only really works if you have time to target what is attacking you by backing up and tab targeting)
/g HELP! I am being attacked by [%Target]!!! SAVE ME!!!!
3) Out of range (I use this, again, as a warning to those I'm trying to heal buy can't. If it's the tank I never use this, I just move myself, but if it's someone else, my primary concern is the tank, so they can move in range/LOS)
/g [%Target]!!! You are out of Range/LOS!!! Please get closer to me so I can heal you!!!
While they can annoy certain party members, I've found them to be invaluable when you aren't using vent. Sometimes I make them more fun, but it's the idea that matters. If you can think of anymore that are useful please let me know!

As for PvE, any Macros telling info is fine obviously, I personally find them not very useful however.
In the situations above, they all require 1. Your party to actually read it. 2. Your party to react to it.
This can also easily be accomplished with by a quick glance at your HP from party window. It will easily reveal if you're under attack or not. And in a controlled environment, your Tank should be able to realize you're dying, or your Sorc\SM will for CC. Chances are if they don't notice your HP going down, they won't notice your Macro (unless its spammed with pretty colours and Emotes) However, this is not the subject at hand.
Some useful macros include:
- Summon both Noble Energy and Divine Energy
- Letting people know you're resurrecting them (Out of party)
- Target Reselect Skill Macros. (Ex. Target Energy, HoT, Target Last)
- Buff Macros (Group or Personal)
For your situations, those 3 are the main annoyances as being a Healer.
Out of Mana shouldn't happen really, unless they are chain pulling and you're conserving Mana Potions.
Being attacked comes with being a Healer in Aion. Heal pulls major agro and I've personally come to expect things to attack me.
Out of Range is a iffy one too, as usually Healers stand at Optimal Healing range to reach everyone without needing to move alot. (unless you're talking about Unstable Triorian, which Out of Range happens frequently).
Skill Macros, are (personal opinion) unneeded, but if you wish to use them for Chains, than go for it.
For Clerics (example) it would take 4 Macros to do the combinations of Hallowed Strike, Heaven's Judgement and Wind. And that's 4 Keybinds/Skill Bar slots being taken that can be used for other things.
Unless others can think of something else, you really need minimal Macros for Clerics.
The only Macro I personally use is Summon Noble and Divine Energy together.

DP wise:
The Generators do Fire Damage? I've been told it was Wind damage.
And the Telepathy Controler is Wind damage aswell, as I've been told, I dont really have time to check out his skills while healing...
