Tip Talking to the opposing faction II

So I only see this program as us attempting to learn the others language. Effectively, those of us active in the community outside of aion, are now half-bilingual like those NPCs.
Pro tip= if you wanna know what the enemy is saying to you, just flip the translator the other way, and type in exactly what you see them say, it will come out in english.

To be honest, I think the reason they did it the way they did isn't so that people could decode it eventually, but to give it at least a little sensical property. That is to say, when an Asmodian says "you" it will come across as "toq" to the elyos every time (Assuming it's lower case). Rather than, something like "Do you know what you are doing?" having two different translations for "you".
And for anyone curious, this definitely works. I was on a low level alt the other day, and saw a red dot, so instinctively attacked. My hits just bounced off, and they were rank 4, so I quickly figured out it was futile and stopped, then said "I guess I don't want to do that..." It caught his attention, so rather than let me try to run then one shot me like he planned (And did eventually) we were chatting for a good hour or two.
Or atleast until they figure to use a real encryption algoritm. Looks like it is alittle more then a simple substition algoritm but still.
Nice work tho.
Life is a Hazard game, you roll the dice and see what happens.

And very observant of you Spirit. Yes, plugging in something they say will get you about 90% of the stuff translated, because most everybody talks in all lower case. If they use upper case letters, either mixed or all upper, though, you'll need to use the full table I posted and try different possibilities, keeping in mind the different options change how the next letter is translated.

I broke with traidition and put a tl;dr at the TOP of the first post, with a link to download a program from this post earlier in the thread. Once you have that, all you need to know is how to use it and you can start talking to the enemy with that little program. If a shugo tries selling you the program for 10,000 kinah, it's a scam.

if you are fighting an enemy, and see him say "Hgkls fdkaslj fdskel"
then open the program, go to the system tray on bottom right, flip the translator to translate into YOUR FACTION. then
and go into notepad, type "/tr Hgkls fdkaslj fdskel" , press control-a, control-c, control-v
then you will see what he said in english. (like they said above, if the enemy uses caps it screws up translation slightly - but its still understandable)

Spacing out the letters alone doesn't work. People think that because previously, we had only figured out how to convert the first letter of each word, so putting spaces in between made every letter the first letter of its word and we could get it to work.

Thankyou! A webpage and not an application was just what I was looking for to play with this kind of thing.
Quick question though. Can you make it backwards translate? So that if I see a mess of letters and numbers from asmos in chat I can copy that in and translate what they are actualy trying to say?
