So far i've crafted the first bow about 20+ times, that was around 6000 asvata logs overall. I crit on 5 of those, that gave me 5 shots at crafting the final bow between me and 400+ handicraft. None of the 5 crit.

Man that sucks! Am still gathering egrasi logs for 5 attempts. The logs are way overpriced now on my server, from below 1k early in the week to 3k a piece now...

50m! damn that sounds awful I've just started myself trying to complete this expert quest
failed the first bow 3 times
eventually got a crit for the noble then failed the 2nd worthy noble

tried again to make the first bow and just no luck so far...

Have to admit its almost as entertaining as watching money burn
(someone should link the image of the Joker in the Dark Knight where he burns the mob money...)

Would be nice if the system kept track on the number of failed attempts and after a point guaranteed
a critical craft else this will just be a nightmare money sink.

The ridiculous thing is someone on my server is trying to sell the final expert crafted bow for 70m. I assume he is someone who crafted a few in a row for his own quest and got 2 crits. Meanwhile unlucky people such as myself are just burning money and time for no reward because the random number generator didn't go my way.

I leveled handicrafting to 399 the second week of release had to wait till we were able to kill 45s and at this moment have crafted 21 Durable Egrasi bows of which 1 has crit and i made 1 attempt at a worthy durable egrasi to finish the quest and it has failed. Until we grabbed the upper fort releasing the morph patterns white premium weapon fluxs are 800k kinah a piece and worthy were 1.6-1.8 , now they are 640 per white and 2mil-2.5 mil per green , about to attempt 3 more first level bows.... this is getting dumb.

Ah, seems like you've had it worse than me so far. I've done 8 tries so far. I have enough weapon fluxes for 4 tries for the white ->green and 2 tries from green->blue :x I just need to farm the fuel kinah and egrasi logs and I'm set.

As much as I'd love to be able to craft all the expert stuff now, I'm waiting a while before I embark on this so that there are more 47+ players (aka flux sources). Should cut the price to 1/5 of what it is now.

40M spent before I finally got expert on Friday. Leveling up from 400 with balic crafting items is rather easy, 449 should be attainable at a relatively low cost in comparison to the expert quest.

It's worth it though, the items you can make 400+ are very nice indeed and sell quite well.

50 million is not a huge amount - stigmas go for 5-10 million if you are lucky, most people have spent at least 5-6 million crafting expert attemts at least in my guild. If not for insane stigma prizes would be a lot more. So if you can make and sale things, get just one or 2 lucky drops 50 million is nothing, hit level 40's and 50million doable providing unlike me you do not spend money like a mad man.

i have sold everything, the 23 gold medals i got the 1350 platinum coins i grinded up , some of the materials i gathered, hot balaur hearts which i am gonna need , i mean ive used 144 premium weapon and 12 worthy weapon so far , only now are the prices dropping from 800k to 500kish on the whites and the greens are up for 2.5 mil , i have a green noble waiting on the other 3 worthy weapon to fail a crit. its draining.

NCsoft loves RNG, for some reason they think its fun and enjoyable. For some reason i think just bad and lazy devs.
4 bows so far, all white...where my tailor friend made his one-crit-needed quest on first attempt, but when i read how many bows others wasted, i dont feel that bad

Actually it doesn't hurt that much when you fail at the white craft. As you can sell it to vendor for 450k~, won't cover the flux costs but gives something back. When you fail the green craft, that's where the bad things happend >_>
