Congratulations, first bots appeared in open beta

a bot with korean name is trying to run to the next mob but he stucked :'( (he tried to run few minutes)







and before it he tried to pick up the loot of other players, attacked all mobs doesnt matter if the mob was attacked by other player before him and acted and moved like a... LIKE A BOT. :D
unfortunately i have no fraps. Its not the only one. there were 3 and 4-man bot parties.

That's an online game already. Hackers appears everywhere, they're persistent. Botter eh... But I'm pretty sure Aion team will do something about this act.

hi guyz! i can't seem to figure out wat to do to complete the deava quest.. i talk to the tree guy and see the old man but on my quest log i saw a picture of 2 blue potion bottle. I don't know where to find them can any korean player help me on this one? thank you!

Anirk, I don't care about bots as much as you do. I'll still play the game even if the AION team can't ban every single bot that comes up daily. It's not the big of a deal to me, as long as I don't get killed by a bot. I'm not saying I don't care at all, I'm saying that I'm not going to ragequit a game because I see one bot. Or two.

Wrong forum to ask in. Talk to the old man, he'll have you kill some things. Then talk to him again and get an empty bottle from him. Go to the big lake and use the bottle to get water. Then take the water to the big tree with a face. Enjoy your wings.

I know its really hard to keep a game bot free and ebay free but if they dont take some noticeable measure against it I wont play. I dont want to experience L2 all over again where you cant go single place even towns withought seeing bots. They have a TOS for a reason usually stating they have the right to suspend your account for whatever reason. IMO they should use that clause more often. Thers no need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt its a bot, if hes not responding, gets stuck, runs back and forth between two points 1000 times, is on 24/7 every day of the month with constant data packets to the server im pretty sure you can figure out thers a problem =/

Sure the people who bot will get banned then theyll go complaining how they didnt do anything but who gives a **** about them. Theyll cry complain send letters threaten to sue then theyll go play WOW. Then all were left with is a good community or with people too afraid for ther toons to bot = perfect.

I have add thats its really REALLY funny hearing people trying to sue for ther characters lmao. Anyway hope they either fix the problem or ban regularly very very regularly

some hacker group has already bypassed gameguard (which was easy according to them). client side controlled mechanics can already been modified like speed, flight time, teleports. although its not game breaking but NCsoft really need to increase their security.

:/ I wouldn't ragequit just yet...I do hate bots though and hope NC would take quick measures. I saw three bots within an hour of game play today...that's too much already.

the problem is not in availability of the bots, there are bots in all online games. the problem is in their numbers. we all know NCSoft's ban policy :D They dont care about all these things in l2, all they want is as more accoutns as possible. Doesnt matter if its bot or not. All I can hope is that in Aion's team work another people and that they dont want to ruin 1 more game. Time will show.
But bots after 1 week of OB is too soon i think. I'm a bit disapointed.

One or two bots is ok.... couple thousand bot infestation *cough L2 cough* IS NOT OK! If they allow the bots to run around like they did in L2 this game isnt going to last very long. I couldnt stand the bots in L2 you couldnt lvl ANYWHERE cuz no matter where you were there were bots in every room of a cata or killing mobs that gave good loot in open areas

Thats the sad part...and the memories of L2 are not happy ones which is probably why im so upset =(

also I hope you all dont become like the people on the L2 boards who just say ignore them, because as you can see from the population on those servers not many people think that way =/

I guess if all else fails ill just play on the korean servers. They tend to care more over there.

Bots. Blah. They wont prevent me from playing Aion at this piont, but I will have to say that they damage a game depending on how they are handled. It leads to many other things like ebaying, powerleveling and so on. To me its about respect. In Lineage 2 NCsoft did not respect their players by allowing bots and farming. They are making a profit from the company and you had instances where people who did not bot got banned because they thought they were. ( I was one of those people ). My Eva Saint got banned for botting when I never botted. The funny thing is that when I spoke with Ncsoft about it they wouldnt even really give me a reason as to why she/he was banned and the entire account was deleted, couldnt even log into it from the website. The only trace I had of the account were screenshots. ( that is the main reason why I quit l2 )
