Hopefully they will just fix stealth, I could care less about the botters, but I have noticed that even non botters can sometimes see through my stealth.
As a ranger you only have Basic Hide which is detectable by Sorcs, Sins & Rangers as well as food buffs and gathered Seeds of Detection. Hide I which is all a ranger will ever have will be detected by players legitimately but I wouldn't doubt that if a sins advanced hide II is being hacked through that a rangers Hide I will also be hacked through without buffs. In this video though I am showing how they see through Hide II which should only ever be seen under the following circumstances:
a) during the "phasing out" portion
b) through the usage of an aoe ability while in the vicinity of the assassin
c) through an ability called "All-seeing Eye" which is available only to rangers and assassins at level 40. It is on a 10 minute cooldown and lasts for 30 seconds ( link to ability: Aion™ Online: The Official Aion Fantasy MMORPG Website - PowerWiki )
But yes...I personally hate the bots but the main point here is that Hide II is being breached not only by bots but by players using hacks also. This needs to be addressed.

Thanks, yeah I definitely intend on sending them a link on twitter but I am unsure whether or not they will spot it through all the messages they get. If the assassin community wants to help by sending them a link to this video also the chances will be higher that they see this.
Cheers.

I mean seriously - it amazes me that everyone is so consumed with this entire situation.
Did you all miss your PTA meeting's or something?
Bot's have existed in other games.
Bot's exist in this game.
Do I like it ? Nope.
But it's not anything new and honestly doesn't really effect anyone.
The situation of this is so highly exaggerated it's almost ridiculous.
I have leveled in pretty much all zones and I have seen bot's maybe once or twice in the entire time of playing this game.
Give it a rest already as we don't need 30 threads a day on it.

Lol this is really nothing about bots....its about people saying thur hide II without a skill to see thur it. If a bot program can figure this out. Its only matter of time before the game community does. This needs to be fix asap

WTF? The little gladiators with no titles, fucked up names with capital letters in the middle, usually guildless, that sit immediately after every mob, and that start beating on your mob even when it's half dead already are bots. Open your eyes, there are hundreds on every server.

I personally believe that "hiding" and being able to disappear after fighting someone, starting to lose the fight, then running and ditching the 1 vs 1 battle is utter crap.
Disappearing during combat has no right to be in a PVP-centric game.
Same thing with SM's Fear being used as a "get out of death free" card by Fearing someone and running away to avoid combat/death.
These things don't need to be in a PVP game.
So people using these hacks, whilst not right, doesn't bother me really as they are just levelling the playing field really because you shouldn't have such a skill in the first place.
EDIT: I should say, having the skill to be hidden and sneak up behind someone to stun them and engage in behind-the-back damage off the bat....I have no problem with that. I just have a problem with it being used as a get out of death free card.

If the bots some players are using allows to see through stealth then yes.. very game breaking. In my last game Rogues (Sins) were very popular, until it became common for people to hack to see through stealth. A few months later Rogues were one of the less popular class.. It was never fixed.
Really hope that doesn't happen with Aion.
(Also just a little note, I already knew this.. if you go to any place with invisible mobs (Like heiron shifting windwhisps) the kinah farmers will target mobs in stealth, run to them and kill them.)

You can't use it as a "get out of death free card" It cannot be used in combat, what game have you been playing?
It's only used as an opener. And any smart player will have an enemy combat window on screen which shows when an enemy uses hide so you can be prepared.
Sins definitely need this skill to be balanced, because most of the time if you're a sin and just run into a 1v1 you're going to die, due to lack of defense and short range attacks.

WTF type of games have you played previously... lol
All of those abilities add flavor to classes.. and can be used Strategically, If you just rob everyone of their abilities they have.. you would just be running around with a Melee/Casters that do nothing but spam damage on each other.. no one wants a game like that it would be no fun at all.

If "flavor" to you is this: "I'm losing the battle that I started to this person...its a fair 1vs1...instead of dying I'll just run away with sprint and use Hide so I won't die"...
Then I can see why you chose to play the class you did.
I bet every MMO with PVP you play will center around the class that can go invisible and avoid death/combat.

One can not use Hide during PvP or imediately after run. To use you must run from the battle area surroundings until your toon change from "battle stance" to "normal stance"...then you can use Hide.
By the way nice video. Grats.

I will add, that in my own experience, I have not yet been attacked by a bot that has me targeted while I'm in stealth.
And another note, that is a bit off topic. I've found that bots that I do attack, are about 8/10 times more difficult to kill, than equal level, same class real players.

So yes...this is very game breaking be it bots or not. As I said I have seen real players doing this also and spotting me through stealth and following me directly in a similar fashion but the easiest way to show an example is to show you these bots and what they are capable of. If anything it also outlines what I showed above...the fact that these bots create an AOE alarm system that will alert any real players of a player in Hide II and there exact location.
As for the person who said earlier that being able to run from combat and hide or to attack from hide should not be part of a pvp game I guess you should also remove a cleric from healing or a sorcerer from being able to do CC? If it wasn't for hide in this game Assassins would need to be able to do something else to survive like maybe summon the image of a robot Jesus that can shoot lasers from his eyes to help DPS down a healing target or a target that continues CCing us repeatedly.
