It sounds just too simple but its fact, critical rate defines our power and effectivity. Especially here in Aion where you can gain about 50% or more critical rate, its absoloutly the most important stat for Glad.
Exactly that is why we seem so low and are underestimated in the early levels, because it takes a while to get above 400 physical crit and with that amount of physical crit it doesnt care if we have 290 or 490 attack, we will do way more dmg(DPS) than ever than before we reached that point, so its not really lv 40-50 what is making us stronger, its the change with critical and attack. And i talk about 400+ crit with 2H.
I played so long another 2 MMO where Crit and Attack was exactly the same as here. In one of them the critcap was 50% and you could extend this cap with gear, on it Max Critical Rate +x%. And there was Critical DMG and Attack, which both increases dmg per critical hit.
47% critical rate(in Aion like 500 Physical Crit) was there like every 2. or 3. hit, no... even few times critical hits in a row in a short time.
Let me say you this: Glad is a crit- class, same as Assassine but with more spike DMG, if you rely on anything else you never will reach the best DPS. This is the importance order to reach the best DPS and KD rate: Phys Crit -> Attack -> Accuracy.
I even suggest to go above the softcap of 440 as softcap means only, the difference of increase between every new additional physical crit point after 440 will be lower. That means you can still go even more higher than 500 PHC to see a better(slightly but recognizable) effect and more KD rates.
