Well, it looks as if today's update trouble was not in vain. According to the below post (which basically reviewed the 1.5.1 patch notes) they've also fixed a little problem some of you may have heard of: Crysystem.dll

Now, only time will tell if this fix is absolute but in order to figure that out, they need YOUR feedback. So let's hear it- There were fortress raids tonight. Did you or your legion mates crash? Any other issues with 1.5.1 now that servers are back up? Lets keep it constructive and post what you're seeing and let's all hope its a thing of the past.

From www.AionOnline.com

Over the last month we’ve been transparent about our plans for the 1.5.1 game update. We’ve been working diligently to bring this update as quickly as possible without creating additional problems or false expectations. For this reason, we’ve made a conscious effort to avoid sharing to much information about our plans to address the crashing issues that many of you have been having. Fortunately, our diligence isn’t without result. We’re happy to report that today’s update will include optimizations to the game client that should serve to solve many of those issues.

As with any change to the game client, there’s a small chance that some of you will have issues. If you continue to experience crashing during Fortress Sieges or other intensive activity today, please report it in our support forums with as much constructive detail as possible.

Never had the problem yet, even during the couple of Fortress sieges I've done, but then again, those had at most 50ish players. Good to hear :)

Am I really the only person that noticed the grammatical error in the "official" statement?

I normally crash quite a few times during fortress sieges. The only way I've got around it in the past is dropping all resolution and graphics settings to minimum and using shift-F12 after a fresh restart of my computer. Today because of the servers shutting down just as I was getting ready to defend our fort, I didn't have time to lower settings. I didn't crash once the entire raid. A few of us noticed this right away and had a feeling something got changed since everyone that was having problems isn't anymore.

I was running Aion at all max graphics the entire raid, hardly any lag at all and none when I used shift-F12. Something definitely got fixed, at least for me.

You're seriously gonna QQ about a tiny grammatical error now?

This just goes to show that no matter how much you try and help and how many things you do actually fix, people will still whine and moan about it.

This is great news and a nice suprise if its now fixed. Will be following this thread closely. Unfortunatly I'm camped in a bad spot right now so can't check it for myself yet but will definitly give it a check tomorrow. The 3 places I have been hit hardest with the crash was either entering the Panda AH building, visiting the crafting area or when trying to visit Morheim - especially in the evening hours. Be great if the issues finally solved as its kept me from skilling my crafting will definitly be nice to make my own pots and snacks instead of shelling out Kinah at the AH hehe.

If its solved:kiss:

If it isn't then

Nitpickers nitpick when they need to make some kind of drama to make themselves feel better.

I welcome this news! Now hopefully alot more legions will participate in fort sieges now and now elyos will have a better chance in the abyss <3

Good work :)

I just hope any future game breaking fixes are resolved faster than a two month bracket :P

Bt, its all fine and dandy for you to voice you're opinion, but I don't think I've ever come across a more unlikable person on the internet than you. I don't say this often but I sincerely hope you leave these forums. There is not a single constructive thing you have ever contributed to any of them.

Yes. I work in communications and design -- I notice these things. It is a seemingly small, but not insignificant indicator of the level of organization and review that occurs within the company (NCSoft).

I entered Eltnen for the first time ever and eventually the chat box above my head appeared in a solid gray box. As soon as I talked to an NPC, I saw an error that the dialog failed to load and crashed.

It ain't fixed.

no one from my legion crashed during two fortress sieges, though few elyos appeared to defend them, still need to test with more people around.

in pandemonium no crashes as well, so far so good.

No crashes for me tonite, other than after everything was all said and done and I tried to set all my video setting back to max... that's when I crashed.

However, I much prefer to crash while I'm sitting around doing nothing in teminon than at a fort siege :)

Going to Link my legion to this thread.

Myself have not crashed in a raid ever since I started using Shift + F12 and going into a raid with low everything.

Though I have run into one with full graphics. Shift + F12 makes a HUGE difference.
