Will use tomorrow Sharp Strike (when I ding 45). Will let you know, although it will be half knowledge since it won't have its finishing maneuver (Severing Strike).

I realise that the sharp strike build would require dauntless spirit and vengeful strike, which leads to technical counter. So if anyone is going for this build will need some parry boost? I am wondering if technical counter and vengeful strike can be used together like crip cut and drain blow. And if this is a recommended build.

They can be used together according to some people. No parry boost is needed...I always get to parry at least once every 30 seconds. If you want a certain parry just backpedal a bit...increase your parry by +200, get the activation, erase the penalty to attack and then WHAM technical counter, vengeful strike and continue the pounding.

They definatly can. I have that spec at the moment and so far I'm much more satisfied with Sharp Strike than with Precision Cut, which I had before.

The animation time of Sharp Strike is really short, its about as fast as Crippling Cut and thus you can deal as much damage as with Precision Cut if you count in the casting time and slow animation. The mana usage with that spec is really insane though, I have to use Mana Treatment every 2-3 mobs if i use all the abilities. Works fine when you use the highest mana regen potions constantly, but that's not really worth it for leveling.
Technical Counter is a "guaranteed" knock down with a higher knockdown chance than Wrathful Strike by the way.

I'll give some detailed feedback when I get the 3rd advanced stigma slot (have to run DP several times for this) and Severing Strike.
(Aion) Temerity
(WAR) Walking Issues - (DAoC) Satori, Mardraum, Xnys, CSI, EZP - (UO) East Britain Rangers, ICE, Team Cow
- PvPing since '97

Interesting. You using the dual wield setup for 2h hmmm. But you cannot use the Precision Cut chain without 2h. Meh at NCsoft;) Still an interesting idea....I like people thinking out of the box.

Btw if you like Sharp Strike more than Precision Cut...imagine what will happen when you get Severing Strike which almost has 40% more damage than Sharp Strike....huhu can't wait. Too bad the Mana cost of these is severe.

My biggest concern with the DW line is that there's 2 parry stigmas in it and it prevents me from getting Draining Blow, Improved Stamina, and Unwavering Devotion. I'll be able to pick up one of those but not all 3 like i would want. I really want to go DW as it is my preferred play style but i'm not sure how to spec it. Seems like i'd have to give up a lot of utility and survivability to get that damage chain and i'm not sure if it's worth it.

Actually it allows you for extra 2 stigmas. I would go for Ankle Snare + Unwavering Devotion or Slaughter + Unwavering Devotion.

I counted Ankle Snare as a must regardless of spec, so that left me with 1. Definitely leaning towards Unwavering over the other 2, just depends on how much that chain hits for.

I am pretty confident the chain will hit for nothing you have seen before in that time frame from a gladiator DPS. However, what does gives me a few concerns is the mana cost. I do not know how well you can keep up with 300 mana used every 16 seconds.

I run with a chanter and have very few issues with mana on my ranger so i don't see it being a much bigger issue with the gladiator.
