So looking at the stats of both;

40= +60 seconds FT
50= +35 seconds FT and 150 HP regen effect

it seems to me that the level 40 wings are better for us due to how quickly we are burned down. unlike a Templar or Cleric, one we start getting hit 150 HP regen isnt gonna do much.

+60 seconds allows us to keep the fight in the air for longer.

anyone else thinking along the same lines?

2nd, 100 HP > 30 sec flight time + 12 mil wasted, but that's just my opinion

seriously? 100 HP isnt jack in endgame, how many times is that gonna save your life compared to the advantage of never having to land. ever. Spamming wind serums becomes exponentially more effective the bigger your flight time pool is. 100 HP wings are for rifting, period.

if you have good gears you're gonna exceed like 3 min flight time, if u spam major wind serums u can stay in the air like...uhh 10-15 minutes

if you think 3:30 and 11-16 or 17 minutes flight is gonna save ur ***...go ahead and pay 12 mil

Lvl 40 wings are better for Abyss PvP, lvl 50 wings are better for pretty much everything else. I WAS going to eventually spend the 12 mill on them; but with the announcement of the 6 month veteran reward wings I really see no reason to. If I play that long those will be by far the best, so no reason to spend the 12 mil on minor stat differences when I can use it on Miragent, etc.

Yeah, I am just gonna wait for the veterancy wings too. But if you are a botter/kinah buyer/rich for whatever reason I see no reason not to buy the wings, they definitely are an advantage in abyss. I will be pinching pennies though because I'd rather be pvping than grinding out kinah and there is enough money sinks at 50 that you could always spend that 12 mil on something else.

By the way, you can snag the wings for 9-10 mil if you buy them at the right time I think (enough forts taken + whatever else affects faction taxes)

Youre forgetting the level 40 black cloud trader wings.. theyre incredibly expensive, but +60 flighttime,+180 HP and +180 MP.

Or you can wait 6months and get them for free from the veteran rewards scheme

the ones u buy dont have HP and MP, only flight time.
