So, I've been told by several people that since the latest patch, the droprate for gold weapons off Kromede has gone up tremendously, and it's easy to get Kromede's Spear now.

Does anyone know whether this is accurate?

Does anyone know anywhere I can find proof that they did, in fact, change the droprate of items off her?

Can't confirm (cuz I am too high for FT), but the patch notes only noted increased droprates for class books from Alquimia and Aethergenics labs.

It DID however, note that stigmas have a high chance of dropping off bosses in dungeons though, and is very correct. Kromede drops stigmas quite often, as well as Steel Rake. Steel rake usually get 1-3 stigmas per run now.

Books and stigmas have risen in chance to drop, golds on the other hands i dont think so at all, having run SR and DC like 20 times each and still aint see ****!

Fire Temple can be entered no matter how high a level you are. There's no cap.

I've been running it day and night on my glad since like 30-31. I did the same on my SM and Ranger, lvl 43 and 36, which I also started doing FT at 30-31 with. God knows how many runs I've done, but it must be well over 300 by now, but it's not like I'm counting.

Seen 2 gold drops from Kromede so far, with 3 chars outleveling the place. One was an orb just today, and then another orb when doing it on my ranger, like a month ago. Soon 38 with the glad and I'm not sure how much longer I will be bothered to farm for it more. So no, I don't think the droprate is increased, and I highly would disagree that it's really easy to get now.

I'm tempted to try DW with all the propaganda floating around here, but I can in no way afford the lvl 40 blue atk speed weapon for 7,4mil, and crafting is not an option for me in Aion, with my bad luck, so I would've hoped for a Kromede drop meanwhile.
(Hate the enchanting and crafting system here, but that's another note :p)

My guild member Sakari had ran that place easily 60 times, day in day out for ages, the only thing they ever saw drop one time was the bow and no ranger was there.

Only thing I've seen drop there is a Greatsword, which our Templar got (I was on my Ranger at the time :()

yeah but boss is only 37, isnt there a 10 levels or so when they stop droppin stuff?

Have ran it a few time 2 man myself and a cleric mate, me 42 him 40, first run was Vile Judge kromede which dropped GS and a 37 sin stigma.

Which was good, I now have the Poley and the GS, done several more runs inspired by our luck, was always corrupt Kormede drop was the same as before the patch.

So in conclusion it would seem they have upped the drop rate for Vile version of the boss but not the normal spawn.

In the patchnotes theres was only stated that the alternative Kromede drops Stigmas(or higher chance for them to drop). I did quite many runs now and we saw only 1 Gold, Kromedes Spear. Before the update the alt. Kromede dropped only Kinah, so far I know.

Don't. I tested it. Dual Wielding is worthless unless you have an attack speed weapon - it's REQUIRED to get a DPS increase over a 2hander.

We got 3 lv 37 Stigmas yet out of FT, so yes its definitly possible to get UD in there, but only from Kromede.

Well close after the update we spammed FT like 4 runs a day, that a few days, and first the most time the second Kromede appeared and dropped always a Stigma. Since some days now only the normal Kromede appeared everytime.

Im not sure, but i guess when she appears(second Kromede) she always drops Stigmas, while befor the update she dropped always only Kinah.

Vile Judge Kromede only had Golds (increased drop rate compared to corrupt), so when you didnt get a gold drop, she dropped kinah. Now she also got stigmas, but im assuming its the same as golds, vile got increased drop on stigmas as well. Leve 34 stigmas seem to drop quite frequently from normal mobs in the instance now as well.

Ran it with a 4 man team, templar, cleric, assasin, and myself (Gladiator). Unwavering Devotion dropped, templar beat me on the roll though :(

Ran it three times today, got corrupt, vile, corrupt. Got a green helm on the first, stigma and kinah second, and blue mat third.

Seems to me that stigma's are certainly more frequent now.

Hi folks,
drop chance of Kromede weapons is still pretty the same. I´m running only FT since 32 till now (38). And guess what.. ..yaep ur rite, still no forking spear!! I have stopped counting runs. Got nearly all the FT equip (now i´m missing only Flame Plate boots, Kutisen earring and ofc spear) QQ for stealrolls :pow:
Anyways I haven´t even seen any Kromede weapon drop after the patch (seen about 3 before the patch).

Or anyone have better idea of getting extendable weapon around this lvl ? Feel free to inform meh :D
