Yeah, if you are elyos you are SoL on the fire mask.

Protector's Mark - Fire mask
Water Spirit Mask - ...Water mask
Bloody Sky Mask - Balaur mask (with a video for elyos side, since I am asmodian)

Expect to see these guides go up within a week or so, depending on free to time get pics.

Hey there first of all thanks for the guide.

Just popping to say that the sirocco mask is not a 100% drop.
I have been camping the boxes for the past 5 days killing at least 12 a day and finally i got one gold box to spawn, gave me 12k kinah and 20 mana pots -.-'

Might be because i'm doing this with a lvl 37 character (I have heard echos about the higher level you are the less chances you have to get a drop even if you are still able to loot.)

But, i'll keep trying! Just wanted to warn that even if you find a gold box you may not get the mask on your first ''kill''.

I'm lazy and busy at the same time... Sorry I've been slacking getting the other guides up. I camped the damn named in Sky Temple for a pic like 5 times and it didn't wanna spawn for me. Makes me sad. Maybe I should go work on the bloody sky mask or water mask one while I cry about no spawns.

Yea that is a pretty nice mask, BUT... Lakhane's kerchief has 2% pvp reduction damage. Armory tells of this but in game item does not show it. I have tested and it does in fact have the reduc.

Also, finally got the Sirocco mask weeeeeeeeeeeeee.

(My chest hunting partner found the gold chest last week and it sadly did NOT have the mask in it. We thought it was a 100% drop rate when the chest spawns but apparently not. Can anyone else confirm this? As he put it, "It felt like I failed crafting a hot heart of magic")

Like I have said, the mask is NOT a 100% drop rate from the gold box. Fire mask guide incoming though since I finally got the last few pics I needed.

Edit again: For the two posts above me that mentioned it, I have added the warning to the original post about the drop rate not being 100%. I'm sorry you didn't get the mask when you popped the gold box, and I know how you feel.

A box will spawn 50~60 minutes after you kill it. If you don't see it up after an hour, then someone got it under your nose.

From what I know it's from a rare spawn in the last room of the Arkanis Temple... And it looks like the Fire Spirit's head. Or skull or w/e it is.

Ëļýõš in Ice Claw Village ó.Ò I am horrified! Good luck getting that mask though. It took me a full 2 weeks to get it. I had to park 3 of my alts there. In order to get them there my favourite Glad (shout out to Teenage Mutant Ninja Matric!) manoeuvred my SM alt to one spot. I then summoned his SM. His SM summoned my Glad alt and he switched back to his main to guide me to the second spot. His SM then summoned my Chanter alt and took it to the 3rd spot. Voilà :3 I wonder how Elyos manage this seeing as how it’s not easy to get non-agro chars to that area.

parked 3 of my lvl30 twinks at each of the three spots and checked for a chest every hour for one day. the first gold chest gave me the sirocco mask. I sold it for 10million kinah and now the spots are camped 24/7 xD

Three characters (in my case level 30) which can use the teleport quest to Morheim, since rifts are camped by heroic level 50 golden asmodians:
- 3x Revival Stone.
- 2x Tombstone of Revival (seperate cooldown).
- 5x Greater Divine Life Serum.
- 10x Major Life Potion (seperate cooldown).
- 5x Greater Running Scroll.
- 5x Major Anti-Shock Scroll.
-> Each character (and put items in quickbar).

Try to get all characters to the Ice-Claw-Village entrance, to the unpassable elite guards (set kisk on quest-teleport spot first).

Once you reached it, start running (can stop under first bridge to lose all aggro)..., keep running (oh crap, stealthed maus!)... and running (oh my god, how do i get up this hill?!), die and revive in monster free spots.

Luckily the monsters give up chasing pretty fast and once you reached the aimed location you are save.

Also awesome to realize a week later (because sometimes the chest respawn seems to be weird) that you stopped at a wrong location (on the right side) since it looks the same and while running there was a chest in the middle of those three 'buildings'.
