  1. Aion Shout Tool V2.0

    21 February 2013 - 04:48 PM

About me: By profession I am a full time games programmer that works for a major UK games developer (Cezion can verify this).

    On topic:

A few years ago I made a tool which parses the chat log file and plays sounds based on what it parses. This is not a hack as all it does is parses the aion chatlog file. It uses similar functionality to Aion Rain Meter - and is safe to use (Under the same terms as Aion Rain Meter).

Now you might ask, why do I want a tool which just plays sound files when it reads some text from the chatlog?

    This is why:

As you can see, its capable of detecting when you receive specific debuffs and playing a sound. I have pre recorded sounds with the application which say the following (also I added some description why I added them):

"blind" - instant pot and remove blind as soon as you hear this sound - awesome for pvp against sins
    "silence" - instant pot
"reflect" - stop hitting the thing you're hitting!
"bound" - instant pot bind skins (lockdown)
"ankle snare" - don't waste a pot - use strengthen wings etc
    "immobilized" - use a pot
    "sleeping" - panic
    "stunned" - instantly remove shock
"feared" - obvious - I found this useful because I could scream instantly on teamspeak, dispel me!
"dispelled" - SM dispells - so you know you should rescroll quickly
    Also:
"activated" - I use this for when my godstone activates, useful if you want to know for example that you just silenced someone.
"beep" - I use the sound for every time an auto attack is detected - this allows me to weave skills perfectly when doing PVE as I hit a skill as soon as I here the sound (It's not an annoying beep sound, more like a pop sound).

It is fully customizable - add your own chat parses and choose your own sound files. You can also save and load your settings for it and share them with your friends.

The main advantage with this is that it allows you to use another sense (hearing) instead of having to visually notice small icons on the screen. Also the sound plays within milliseconds of it appearing in the log and you usually receive log information before its visually shown in game - this gives a nice advantage.

Ok, so now I've explained what it is - I would just like to say, This isn't a hack and technically isn't cheating - it's just me using my brain to unlock another sense. It will not automatically do things for you - it just plays a sounds.

I recommend using AionRainMeter to enable the chatlog for it's use.

I am attempting to sell the tool for $2 a download (this will go towards upgrading my pc  ) - ofcourse there is nothing stopping one person from purchasing it and just sharing it with his friends - obviously I'm not saying that you should do this - I'd prefer if you would help me out by just paying the $2 (since it's such a low price).

You can download it here and pay using paypal (it should provide a download link as soon as payment is sent):

    Preview video:
Nothing special as far as duels or pvp goes.. just a vid to show the 'shouts' in action:

Download link is in the youtube video description :-)

Also, purchasers will get free updates - the website (fetchapp.com) that I'm using allows for me to send updates links to purchasers email addresses.

There is people on the forum who are capable of vouching for this tool - as they've heard it over Team Speak coming from players or used it.

    Thankyou and enjoy,
    ~Daz
