Ok I feel I must set you straight on were the origins of the "kool aid" remark first came. Do you remember the comet hale bopp? there was a cult that believed if they commit suicide they would end up on the mother ship, they all committed suicide by drinking kool aid laced with poison... absolutely jack nothing to do with race. Im not sure what country you are from but I would think when you are in your 30s you should be grown up enough to know what you are doing so saying Robert Byrd was too young and just made a mistake by being a proud klansman blows my mind.

I have no idea how you can say that kool aid is a racial remark, if you think kool aid is only for a specific race then you are the racist. Heres some reading material so you know what your actually talking about next time. "Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan when he was 24 in 1942. His local chapter unanimously elected him Exalted Cyclops.[6] According to Byrd, a Klan official told him, "You have a talent for leadership, Bob... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd later recalled, "suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did."[6] Byrd held the titles Kleagle (recruiter) and Exalted Cyclops.[6] In 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore Bilbo:[9] ?
