Solo play

Stepping into the worlds of MMORPGs for the first time can be an intimidating experience. Add to the fact that you'll have to find a group right away or else get pwned by a mob lurking close by and new players to the genre will feel rather lost and helpless ~ definitely not the hero type that one expects. Anyway, our new...

Blog 22675 > My gaming style

Posted 24 August 2009

I am predominantly a PC gamer and since an early age, I've had the opportunity to immerse myself into the virtual worlds of [I]The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Zork series, Richard Garriot's (Lord British's) Ultima series, the Wizardry series, The Bard's Tale, Moebius: The Orb of Celestial Harmony, Warcraft series, Starcraft and...

Blog 22675 > What type of Gamer am I

Posted 24 August 2009

Well, seems like I have a bit of time on my hands this evening so I thought I'd sit down and write about my gaming history and playstyle...

I started PC gaming at the age of 10 on an Apple II computer, and as Zemure has mentioned in her post, those were definitely the good old days. Interactive adventure games were some of my favourites back then...

Blog 22675 > Hades in Elysea: The Tursins

Posted 13 August 2009

[FONT="Georgia"]Corum stood over the lifeless body before him, whispering a soft chant that seemed to echo in the silence of the shallow canyon. As his final words began to fade into the aether, the huddled form began to rise, regaining breath and life.

'My thanks, Corum...', Vianne managed after catching her breath. [I]'How are the others...

I was too lazy to use FRAPS for very very long. Since AION has things that can't quite be described with just words, I decided to finally start recording. Still haven't used it much, but I'm sure that once I get things working properly I'll be posting lots of videos ^^

I did FRAPS some things, but I need to convert the recordings to different files before I can upload them. I also need to free up some space. These videos, because of their huge file size, have been catching up a bunch of space, not letting me record any more >_<

I have over 300 screenshots. So that'll be the least of my troubles xD Hopefully I'll write the review before the next beta starts. Otherwise I'll just end up having even more to write about, and I already have plenty ._.

That actually helped. My latest review I wrote was of my Elyos experience in the first beta, and it was written like a normal review with a bit of sarcasm and humor. You gave me the idea to try and actually involve my character with the review. Having her possibly comment along the way, which could make writing the review a whole lot more fun. Even if your intention was something else, what you wrote did give me a nice idea. Thanks! ^^

Hey there. I just read your latest blog entry. Yet again, I loved it. How do you keep this up? I've been delaying posting a review of my beta experience for a whole month [or more] just 'cause I have so much to say and don't feel like writing it all down. How do you do it? >:
