It is NO LONGER part of the game after the launch patch. If they decide to remove my account on the that basis,so be it . They'd have a bloody hard time explaining that in here though. Then I take it you didn't understand our conversation on the thread "if I remove GG will I get banned", where I clearly showed you that you have no right to modify game code, you only have license to use the service. you weren't proven right at all, you just think you were. There' a huge difference between winning an argument and "thinking you won it " .

Infact by the act of providing guides to remove GG you're in conflict with your legal obligation to protect and uphold NCSoft software (this includes GG, game engine and anyother part of the service in respect to Aion) that alone is reason and permission enough for NCSoft to delete your game account.

By doing so you are acting on NCSofts behalf by providing advice to other NCSoft customers with regard to removal of GG from the install. GG should only be removed IF NCSoft publically say it is allowed and only then. not before. in your OP you ommited any referance to NCSoft, having there permission or right to undertake such an action, just because they have "disabled the functionality" of GG for launch still does not give us rights as users to modify the property of NCSoft implied or otherwise. I hope to god for your own sake that ether you reword you OP or the mods remove this thread....

Too my knowledge I haven't referenced prior or post launch patch GG removal, only that permission should be requested prior to the removal of GG and that NCsoft should provide us with a removal tool should they decide that we can remove it from our systems. The only reason I have said what I've said is because of compassion for yourself, in other words I'm looking out for you. Reference OP "don't try to remove gameguard now- in your excitement - but wait until after Aion is fully patched to launch version. You can then- and only then - proceed with the steps described here:"

Well I do believe some of them are shills and that's to be expected so there is no point to argue with them because it doesn't tell them something that they don't know, of course they'll never admit anything, it's not in their job description heh. I just try to keep the thread bumped because it does raises averness and we see new posters every day chipping in, and I do it because I hope NCS does something about it so I can play Aion, because I'm sure not playing it with GG running on my system. I also feel cheated and little stupid for allowing GG to instal on my system. I should have broaden my research beyond game features before I bought the game I guess heh. I wont be making the same mistake again that's for sure.

yep i'm not buying it either, GW was Strain's baby, no way he would have left in the middle of GW2 production if "nothing" happened hehe especially it's after the reorganisation of NCSoft anyhows i dunno bout the publisher change

I definitely agree that forced PVP was not necessarily the wisest of options, but I have hopes that the NCSoft team realizes that quickly and makes PVP outside of the abyss something one can opt out of. It's just a matter of offering someone the "reject" button in the options menu. Only for the PVE areas where people are trying to level in order to get in to the abyss. To be running along and then "POW"...dead...seems a bit drastic to me LMAO. Anyway, it sounds like we may be in agreement with this. Perhaps it will take the NCSoft team to really understand the need for option before they get it....and what better way is in declined sales in the US. Not saying that it will do poorly here. I just think it won't do as well as if they made PVP outside of the abyss a choice rather than an eventuality.
