Honestly, my opinion on the battle guard gauge... I think that the health system in most games IS the guard gauge. I think that it represents the amount of power you could block, etc... Your idea, though a good, nay a great one, would be wayyy too hard even for a dedicated team. They'd have to overhaul ALL of the skills to be able to make significant enough pressure to be able to be able to break through the guard, especially if it regenerates like energy. As for the battle action system, I think it's great, however, again, you face the wall of rebalancing every single skill in the game to fit this procedure. Sure, you could implement it for only auto attacks, but that would be kind of...boring, especially since a Warrior, once he fills his initial adrenaline, he might not need to auto attack until engaging another target... I really LOVE the channeling thing now. :D

Those were some pretty nice ideas. I especially like the elementalist adjustments, like the AoE stuff. But then again, I AM a sorcerer. :p Some simple things could've gone a long long way, ehh?

Am I correct in thinking you've played GW before, I recognize you from GW Guru a while back. It's been quite a while since I've played...But I do agree, it's gone downhill. What do you think ruined it the most?

Ahh thats cool. I can't even remember what post i was thinking about when i wrote that thing in my profile... Anyway i just was saving it lol. You mentioned Guild Wars a bit ago, and damn I do want to try it, but i haven't had the chance. Funny, my game design professor recommended i play it a couple years ago, and of course i never did. I've been logging some hours in Mass Effect though. Have you played it? I never was a fan of the Knights of the Old Republic style of semi-realtime games but this one does a decent job. The plot leaves some things to be desired so far but the game's galactic history, alien races, and technology (to some extent) is engrossing.
