Abyss points are earned from fighting against the opposing race or the opposing NPC guards. You enter this area via a Rift that appears.
The Abyss Points you have earned can be viewed in the Abyss Tab of the Character Status Window.
Abyss Points are not only earned, but can also be lost when killed by enemies in combat: defeating a higher ranked enemy yields more Abyss Points, and also less points are lost if defeated by a higher ranked enemy.
Earning AP brings several benefits:
- Increase your Abyss rank
- If you're a legion member it will contribute in growing your Legion Contribution Points
- Allows you to have the powerful Abyss Weapons / Armors: very special skins and strong items obtainable only through using the AP earned with special NPC traders.
