Direct Portal

Introduction

Direct Portals allow Elyos and the Asmodians to PvP through methods not offered by other games. One of the primary goals of the second Korean Closed Beta Test is to introduce Direct Portals.

Game Implementation

Direct portals will spawn anywhere at random. Normally they link regions of similar level range, but occasionally they will link regions of high level as well as low level areas together.

Whenever a Direct Portal opens up, there will be a large indication in the sky. The players will thus be able to tell what kind of portal has opened up without having to travel to the location. In addition, Direct Portals cannot be created in the starting zones, this was done to protect the new beginners.
