ViewsHero SystemFrom AionSource.com WikiAION: The Tower of Eternity is still under development by NCsoft, and any information related to the game is subject to change with the release of more information.
IntroductionIn Aion: The Tower of Eternity, extraordinary players will gain recognition by earning the title of a Hero. Although this system is in its early development stage, Kyoung Won Choi confirms "[they] are... working on a 'Hero' system." Becoming one will require a significant amount of effort on the players' part. Heroes will act as human, player-controlled "Boss" enemies and will be much more difficult for enemies to defeat as compared to ordinary players. GameplayHeroes have several levels, according to the Abyss points they have earned over a certain period of time. After achieving the title of a Hero, players can obtain exclusive skills according to each level. Heroes will be able to fight against two to three enemy players ranging in number to score by using those skills. RestrictionsThere are some restrictions on using these skills, however. In areas where these restrictions apply, the Hero will return to becoming an ordinary character. People within a certain area will be notified when a Hero enters it with restrictions applied. That hero must immediately reqest for aid from the members of his faction to defend against the enemy. Rewards & AdvantagesOn the other hand, the PvP reward for players who defeat Heroes will be greater than usual, just like the rewards for defeating Party Monsters or Raid Monsters -- it does not matter whether the hero has lost his status or not. |
