Class Summary

The Sorcerer is one of the eight advanced character classes in Aion. The Sorcerer follows the path of magic, mastering the elements of water, fire, wind, and earth. Sorcerers call on the strength of their spirit to issue bolts of fire or to freeze every bone in the body of an enemy.

Play Style

Concentration during spellcasting is key, hence the reason Sorcerers team up with defensive classes for protection. They specialize in long-ranged attacks and are not suited for close combat.

Weapons

The Sorcerer will wield Orbs or a magical Tome to increase their magical damage and incinerate the opponents with magical spells.

Books and Orbs

Sorcerers will use these weapons to increase the attack of their magic, as well as add attributes to themselves or their skills. While possible, melee damage is not a good choice for these weapons. Tomes cannot be used as melee weapons.

Skills

Skills are the main basis for the Sorcerer. Most will do a lot of damage with a rather large cooldown, and others will inhibit the enemy with minor damage. An exact skillset is not available as of yet.

Builds

There will be no availability to create custom builds of the Sorcerer or any other class, since the aspect points will be taken care of when you level automatically. You can use Stigmas to add custom skills and attributes to the character.

Stigmas

There is no info on Stigma specifications yet, but cooldown-reducing and magical damage increasing Stigmas will be the ones you will want to work at adding.
